Can I pay when I come to class?

Yes. For group classes or when joining a pre-existing class you can pay on the training day.   We accept all forms of payment.  These include credit card, digital (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Pay Pal, Square),  All programs are eligible for digital invoicing.   

However, if you're booking a new or private appointment then a deposit or pre-payment may be required.

Can I reschedule?     is there a fee?

No! There is no fee if you reschedule outside of the 24-hour window. We understand that life gets in the way sometimes and we'd be happy to work out a new time or date to better suit your situation.

how do I get a replacement certification?

Your ECard through HSI can usually be processed by our office within 24.  There is NO Charge to reissue your accredited certification card.  With the AHA's new eCard system, replacements have never been easier. You can look up your certification by name, email address, or serial number 24/7 directly from the AHA website!  Please give us a call at (239) 273-1238 if you're struggling to find it.

Do you provide the American heart association (AHA) certification for Healthcare professionals?

Yes.  We provide the American Heart Association (BLS) Basic Life Support, (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider certification with the AHA logo.   This training programs is national recognized and accredited.  

What is the difference between BLS and CPR?

BLS is Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.  This program emphasizes a "Team Dynamic" at the healthcare level.  A BLS training program utilizes the elements of the AHA "Chain-of-Survival".  These concepts are designed for doctors, nurses, EMTs, dentists, CNAs, law enforcement or other professions within the health care field.

Standard CPR/AED training is primarily for non-healthcare providers such as teachers, construction workers, and general public. This course teaches the basic skills of CPR & AED use to empower and increase the confidence of basic rescuers to perform CPR in everyday emergencies.

how long is my certification good for?

All accredited certification trainings completed through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross and Health & Safety Institute are valid for two (2) years.

When do I get my certification

This varies by class and circumstance. Our students usually receive their certification by email within a few days of the course completion.  If you have not received your certification, please call us at (239) 273-1238 and we will look to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

What should I wear

Class involves hands-on practice so it is best if you wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. You will be on the floor and bending a lot during practice. If you have long hair, it’s best to wear it back.

is there an age restriction for certification?

There is no minimum or maximum age for CPR training.  If a student can understand the information and pass the skills testing portion, we have issued certification cards for ages as young as 10.

Is there a Minimum number of students required for group trainings?

We do not require a minimum number of students to schedule or "run" a class.
