Emergency Oxygen Administration
This course is designed for healthcare workers, professional rescuers, including lifeguards, who want to improve their ability to provide care for victims of breathing emergencies.
Topics in this course include: How to react in an emergency, calling 911, signs and symptoms of hypoxia and administration of emergency oxygen to a conscious or unconscious patient. FDA Requirements, legal issues, treatment for shock, servicing and maintenance for emergency oxygen are also covered.
This course lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and certification is valid for 1 year. A current CPR or CPR/First Aid combination card is required prior to taking this course.
