ACLS is designed for healthcare providers that wish to enhance skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
ACLS emphasizes the importance of high quality CPR and it's role in patient survival. It also includes the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
This course is primarily designed for emergency, intensive care, or critical care healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
This is a classroom-based, instructor led course. A Student Manual will be provided to every student prior to the class start date. Books will only be issued to pre-paid courses or students with a valid credit card on file. A course certification card will be issued within a week of the course completion and is valid for two (2) years.
